    Hi Marnie,
I think the most challenging aspect of my business is finding the time to market to all the avenues that have become available. Also, how to come across so I don’t sound like every other coach out there.

I have been in the field of personal transformation for over 25 years. I have a number of different certifications, including coaching, hynotherapy, NLP, relationship counseling etc.

I coach women solo/entrenpreneurs with a 6 step process called “Say Yes to YOU” so they can overcome limiting beliefs and negative thinking to create total success in life and business and financial freedom. Women have a tendency to put themselves at the bottom of the list!
I do private tele-coaching a have telephone boot camps.
II’m really looking forward to taking these classes and thank you for facilitating them.
    Joy and Blessings

I am a freelance writer that writes exclusively for the web. I have done well until the economy has started to take its toll.

I have not put a great deal of effort into branding because there was no need up until now. To overcome that, I am writing more public messages, such as at my blog and through other mediums. Because my work has slowed down, I see this as an opportunity, not a setback. I can now focus on what I probably should have before this. It is how we learn online.

One of my efforts is getting more involved through social networking. It is a reality that we all must take into consideration. I am making gains at Twitter and have become involved with FriendFeed. I plan on going further in this arena.

I am known as the SMARTcut Expert, Mentoring BusinessMoms who are juggling the “simultaneous action” of building their business without sacrificing the priorities of motherhood. I get “your life.simplified.”

Currently I am adding new e-products to my website, offering Tele-conference programs for home and office organizng as well as my “Personal Touch” programs. I really LOVE to travel (coast to coast, maybe more!) to do “on site” work with lovely creative clients who just think they are missing the “organizng gene”.

    Hi Marnie and Phil!

My business partner and I, who will be signing up for the calls soon, are just beginning to define and start our business!

We are in the process of brainstorming ideas and the exact way we would like to proceed and what we want to do w/our business.

We are both certified Dressing Your Truth Cosultants, have both been studying, in depth, the Laws of Thought and Success, and have a desire to teach others what we have learned. We want to write e-books and produce programs to teach this information!

By the time the class starts, we are intending to be clear on what we want our message to be, and are excited for the opportunity to work w/both of you on how to get our message out there!

    Thanks,
    RossAnne

    Hi Hazel, Alden and Debbye,
Thanks for logging and in telling us about your current business efforts. Our goal in this four week workshop will be to help each of you gain a better understanding of what motivates you and energizes you — and to then find that common thread in all of it. We’ll also highlight strategies for spreading that message more effectively.

Feel free to use this as a forum to connect, ask questions and share concerns. Each of our four classes will also come with a .pdf download for you to take notes, fill out the questions and complete assignments for the following week. You’ll also be directed to a number of valuable resources that will help enhance your current marketing in a very practical and pragmatic fashion.

Looking forward to helping you shine!

    Hey, Marnie!

My biggest challenge is definitely marketing. The problem is that I don’t resonate with what most of the marketing “gurus” out there are saying. I am personally insulted whenever I receive the marketing rhetoric, and I don’t want to pass that on to my clients. (If I hear “give me 30 minutes and I’ll change your life” or “My assistant/boss/accountant is going to kill me when she finds out what I’m offering you” or any of the other common gimmicks one more time, I’m going to scream!)

Whenever I receive that rhetoric, I just want to say: “Talk to me from your heart, not your script.”

So I’m looking for a marketing system that I am comfortable with and that comes straight from my heart! That is why I resonated so much with Phil on the call you did with him!

I can’t wait to start these calls!

    Thanks for putting this together!
    Alisa

Hi Marnie, Phil, and everyone here!

I’m an energy therapist, a writer, and an animal communicator-in-training.

Since I have three areas of passion — energy therapy, animal communication, and writing — I’d like to learn what’s at the core of them all so I can be very focused as I move ahead.

I’m gradually building a business providing energy sessions, where my niche is helping people open to their intuition in all areas of life.

As I finish my training in animal communication, I’ll be expanding to work with animals, providing energy sessions and communication services.

And I’ll be writing about both!

I would like to learn how to fold these together seamlessly so that my professional presence is strong and consistent.

    Thank you so much,
    Harmony Harrison

My greatest challenge is figuring out how to market my very select niche…when I hear of mommy bloggers getting and average of 8000 hits a day when they talk about washing disposable diapers by mistake I get a little disgruntled…now I am not saying anything negative but my subject matter is deeply contemplative and doesn’t always allow for levity per say…anyway…don’t exactly know how to market my particular brand in a affordable way.

One thing I need to do is narrow down my social networking to a couple of places I can then manage…

    Just rambling I guess.

    HI Everyone,

Just heard about this so better late than never.

I’m an Inner Feng Shui Coach and work with women in mid life who are up to something big - they just may not know what it is or how to get there - and even though they may appear like they have it all, they know there is more.

I want what they want - to be more of who I am - and even though I may be a few steps ahead of them, I know there’s a way for things to flow easier and work better for me - without me putting even more time in. The idea of having a way of sorting opportunities that come my way and not being distracted by all kinds of bright shiny objects really appeals - where to best put my energy, money and time??

Looking forward to this series - even though I missed the first call and will be flying to New Zealand on the day of the 4th call - I’m trusting you’ll have patience with me :-).

I have been trying to redirect my life’s course of helping people in my current business of Domestic services to one of more personal contact. Having worked for myself for the past ten years and having what I consider a very loyal following, I realize that my physical ability must be redirected. I have been feeling incredibly overwhelmed by all of the options that have been coming to me. I have never been a member a social network, and I’m not even sure how to begin.

I wrote about myself last week. I don’t know why it wasn’t published but here goes again. I have always loved learning and people used to want to tell me their problems. Now that I am older and wiser they don’t do that so much because I am so optomistic. That can be a problem when you want to coach and influence others. Maybe that is why I want to get my website up and running so people will be attracted to me and I can teach what I know.

I am a wife of 50 years with ten children and 57 grandchildren. Yes, I am sane, youthful, happy and growing. I just want to do it all better.

I wasn’t raised with the computer and everything that came since, but I am learning and want to get better at those things as well. With my large family, my greatest challenge is fitting it all in. I tend to bite off more than I can chew and try my best to do it anyway. Of course, my results aren’t as good as I want them to be. I know I need to focus but everything I do relates to what I want so it is very hard to eliminate and be more efficient.

I also have old paradigms that prevent me from having the money I want. I have worked on it for a long time and am doing better, but it is still a burden to me. I was raised on debt and think my bottom line is that I have to be in debt to get what I want. That doesn’t go well with my husband and it isn’t the way we raised our family. Since I have been going for my own passion it has raised its ugly head and I have trouble loving and letting it go.

I want to support of you all in any way I can as well.

    My best to you all.
    Renae Pelo
